Nothing like starting the year with a hurricane!

• Complete paperwork in yellow packet with updated information and return all items inside envelop

• Visit that Roberts PTO Webpage www.robertspto.org  or the school webpage www.houstonisd.org/robertselem for:
• VIPS clearance - remember this can take up to 2-3 weeks to complete
• Directory listing
• Volunteer registration
• Rainy Day Dismissal: All parent walk-up will be dismissed from inside the building. Fifth graders will be located in the Fine Arts Wing. 
• Alerts from HISD: You can opt-in for texts from HISD by texting 'YES' to 68453

For the first week of school, we will be going over:

• Creating Essential Agreements
• Becoming familiar with routines, schedules, and expectations
• Begin our class novel
• Completing Running Records
• Setting- up subject area journals.
